Wyoming Legislators Defeat “Convention of States” resolution for Article V Constitutional Convention 

After hard work by local John Birch Society members and chapters in Wyoming, tirelessly informing their state legislators about the dangers of a federal constitutional convention (Con-Con), under Article V, a majority of Wyoming state representatives completely obliterate a “Convention of States” (COS)-backed Con-Con resolution, Senate Joint Resolution No. SJ0011 (SJ0011) of 2023.

Some people believe that the best way to “fix” the Constitution is with a Convention of States or Constitutional Convention.  What they don’t realize is who will be elected or appointed to rewrite this document.  Will big money push their candidates into a position to make changes that favor them? 

What about the street organizations fighting to win their influence, protesting and rioting in the streets?

Dangerous New Con-Con Proposal | Activate America

What good would rewriting the Constitution do if our politicians can’t follow the one we have already? What would be the effect of Soros’s money if there were a Constitutional Convention? Is this the time to try and get delegates to a convention when the country is so divided?

It’s strange, but many have been fooled into thinking a Constitutional Convention or Convention of States is a good idea. This includes some members of the Republican party. In fact, there’s a proposal before Congress right now! They are named House Concurrent Resolution 101 and HR 8419. This proposal could have serious implications on your personal liberty. We urge you to watch this video to learn more. Then, take action!
