Ted Grob, Jr.

Ted Grob, Jr.

Ted was born in 1945 in Milwaukee. He has stayed in this area most of his life.

He married Kay in 1966, and they are proud of their four children, 12 grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

They have enjoyed traveling, but always come home and realize that our country is the last bastion of freedom in the world.

Shortly after graduating from a business college with a degree in Sales and Marketing, they started Ted Grob Sales, Inc. They sold new and used machine tools and industrial equipment. Ted officially retired in 2017, but worked part time until 2019.

Ted Grob Sales was a long-time advertiser in The Review of the News and The New American. He started a tradition of giving at least 10 subscriptions to those magazines each year to friends, family, and politicians. That tradition continues today.

Ted served on a number of boards at church, a small business group in Wisconsin and a national trade group for machinery dealers.  He attended the 1980 and 1986 White House Conference on Small Business in Washington, D.C.

His “Birch Career” started when then-Wisconsin Field Coordinator John Selck signed him up in 1967. He was a Section Leader, then a Chapter Leader multiple times. He and Kay are Life Members, and hold a life subscription to The New American. He works with local political officeholders, and has a good relationship with his U.S. representative.
