The Constitution Is the Solution Workshop

You’re invited to attend a six-part workshop for the Constitution Is the Solution six-part series. Each meeting will include one session of the six-part series. We will provide you with a practical, common-sense understanding of how the Constitution was intended to limit government, not citizens. This understanding will equip you to work with others to solve many of the problems Americans face every day that were created by Big Government.

The last date of this workshop is February 18.

Part 6: Restoring the Constitution and Taking Effective Action. We Are The John Birch Society

With part 6, we wrap up The Constitution Is the Solution series by discussing how Americans interested in restoring the Constitution can take effective action through membership in The John Birch Society.

General Information:

Purpose: The purpose of the Robert Welch Book Club is to give participants an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the wisdom of our founder and the philosophy of The John Birch Society. Members of the Club will become more effective in promulgating the cause of Americanism. They will gain a better working knowledge of Constitutional Originalism, obtain a proper historical perspective, and gain an active working knowledge of The John Birch Society and its goals.

Objective: The goal of the Club is not to supplant the activities of JBS members in the completion of their monthly duties, in fact the Club’s hope is to augment and draw attention to The John Birch Society’s weekly and monthly activities as these are born out of the works of Robert Welch. In less than a year, members will have completed, systematically, majority of our founder’s published works.

Expectations: Members of the club will read 50 to 100 pages a week, which is about 7 to 14 pages a day. While some with handicaps may wish to listen to the audio versions of these presentations, this privilege is reserved for those with a true reading disability. Reading books will be the requirement for all able-bodied participants, as reading is the greatest means of gaining permanent knowledge.

Formality: Classes will be informal, and the leader will serve only as a guide and moderator, who uses small prompts that will be given to ensure the class stays focused on the material having been read that week.

Time and Place: Classes will be held Sunday evenings from 7 to 8pm, via Zoom, beginning November 19th. Once a person registers, the first assignment with a Zoom link will be sent to them. Registrants must obtain (either a hard copy or the PDF) at least a week before class starts in order to read the assigned pages prior to the first Zoom meeting. We will take a two-week break over Christmas and New Year’s.
