The United Nations is planning a major power grab — in the name of effectively responding to “global shocks” — that would decimate national sovereignty while empowering the socialist global body. Congress must boldly defend U.S. sovereignty against the United Nations!
In March 2023, the United Nations released a policy brief proposing an “Emergency Platform,” a “set of protocols that could be activated when needed” in response to “global shocks,” which the UN defined to include “large-scale climatic or environmental events,” “future pandemics,” “disruptions to [cyberspace or] global digital connectivity,” “events leading to disruptions to global flows of goods, people or finance,” biological disasters, “major event[s] in outer space,” and “unforeseen risks.”
These protocols would be “triggered automatically” in such scenarios and would “bring together … willing Member States, the United Nations system, international financial institutions, regional bodies and relevant private sector, civil society, academic and non-governmental actors” — all under the “primary” authority of the United Nations.
In other words, the UN would use “global emergencies” as an excuse to dramatically expand its power over countries and their citizens.
Furthermore, this plan is closely connected to the UN’s Agenda 2030, the global body’s blueprint for taking total control over all humanity. Discussing this and related proposals, Secretary-General António Guterres declared, “The goal is simple: to breathe new life into the multilateral system so that it can deliver on the promises of the United Nations Charter and the 2030 Agenda.”
UN member states are expected to consider this and other draconian proposals at the “SDG Summit” in September and the “Summit of the Future” in 2024. The U.S. State Department has suggested that it supports the UN’s “Emergency Platform.”
It is imperative that Congress reject the UN’s “Emergency Platform” and ultimately votes to withdraw the United States from the UN itself. The United Nations is a major threat to liberty and national sovereignty — from the start, the UN was a project of the Deep State to achieve a one-world government. This goal is becoming increasingly apparent as the UN’s tentacles increasingly strangle the sovereignty of the U.S. and other countries.
Urge your U.S. representative and senator to block the UN from implementing its “Emergency Platform,” and ultimately to support withdrawing the United States from the UN itself.
