The Real Face of the European Union: Preview of a North American Union?

The European Economic Community (EEC) began for Britain as a free-trade agreement in 1972. Today's European Union (EU) is well on its way to becoming a federal superstate, complete with one currency, one legal system, one military, one police force, and even its own national anthem.

The Real Face of the European Union, produced by Phillip Day, includes commentary from a member of the EU Parliament and other analysts. It covers the history and goals of the EU, as well as the disturbing, irrevocable implications the EU continental government holds for every British citizen. With a similar process unfolding in America under the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) — since superseded by the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) — Americans are starting to ask themselves if their elected officials should be allowed to go down the same path and create a North American Union.

Under agreement with Phillip Day, The John Birch Society modified this documentary for an American audience by adding a new introduction and ending to unmask the similarities between the EU and the North American Union, of which many still say does not exist. We wonder how many EU citizens used to say the same thing?
