Alex Newman: Burning Man, Big Tech, AI, MrBeast & Christianity
Burning Man, Big Tech, MrBeast, Christianity, artificial intelligence, and the battle over who influences America’s children — what connects them?
The New American Senior Editor, Investigative journalist, and Liberty Sentinel founder Alex Newman joins Birch’N the USA hosts Ty Bodden and Christian Gomez for a wide-ranging conversation about some of his latest reporting and investigations.
Newman recently traveled to Burning Man in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert with a camera crew to document the massive gathering firsthand, examining its spiritual and cultural influences and its connections to figures in Silicon Valley and the technology industry. The conversation also turns to the apparent resurgence of Christianity, including his daughter Marlee’s recent interview with Chandler Hallow of the MrBeast crew about his faith, as well as the growing influence of artificial intelligence on questions of morality, identity, and meaning. Alex, Ty, and Christian also discuss education, homeschooling, parental rights, and the broader question of who ultimately has authority over children, including a Nebraska court case challenging compulsory education and public-school-only funding.
From Burning Man and Big Tech to Christianity, AI, homeschooling, and parental authority, this episode explores the cultural and spiritual forces shaping the next generation.
