The John Birch Society held its 2026 Conference in Salt Lake City on June 5-6, 2026. Patriots from across the United States gathered together to hear from our speakers, get resources for engaging in effective activism, and have fellowship with one another.

Catherine Austin Fitts
Catherine is the president of Solari, Inc., publisher of the Solari Report, and managing member of Solari Investment Screens, LLC. Catherine served as managing director and member of the board of directors of the Wall Street investment bank Dillon, Read & Co. Inc., as Assistant Secretary of Housing and Federal Housing Commissioner at the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development in the first Bush Administration, and was the president of Hamilton Securities Group, Inc. Catherine has designed and closed over $25 billion of transactions and investments to-date and has led portfolio and investment strategy for $300 billion of financial assets and liabilities.

Alex Newman
Alex Newman is an award-winning international journalist, educator, author, and speaker dedicated to glorifying God in everything he does. He serves as senior editor of The New American magazine, host of the nationally syndicated radio show Behind The Deep State, and president of Liberty Sentinel Media.
Throughout his career, Alex has interviewed heads of state, members of Congress, royalty, and other global leaders while reporting from dozens of countries across Africa, Asia, South America, and the Middle East. His work has appeared in numerous publications in the United States and internationally, and he is a frequent guest on national television and radio programs including Fox, Newsmax, OAN, NTD, and TBN.
A passionate advocate for education reform, Alex taught Advanced Economics for more than a decade for Freedom Project Academy. He now serves on the FPA board as well as the boards of several education-focused organizations. He is the author of several books, including Crimes of the Educators, Indoctrinating Our Children to Death, and Deep State.
Alex speaks widely on education, economics, global affairs, and faith. Most importantly, Alex is married to the love of his life. They have five children, so far, all of whom are homeschooled.
Robert Brown
Robert Brown
Robert Brown has served as a field coordinator and regional field director for The John Birch Society and today is a national spokesman on constitutional issues. He is best known for his lectures on the Constitution. He has produced six of his lectures as a video series known as “The Constitution Is The Solution” which has gained popularity nationwide.
After viewing just two of these lectures, a constitutional attorney from New Jersey said: “I studied Constitutional law under one of the most outstanding Constitutional lawyers/law professors in America, and I have learned more from the two DVD’s that I saw than I did from the professor.”
Mr. Brown lives in Utah with his wife Eve, and their children. A popular speaker on Constitutional issues, particularly Article 5 and on Nullification, he has lectured for many liberty-minded organizations throughout the country, testified as an expert witness on constitutional issues before numerous state legislatures, and has been a guest on many radio and television programs.

Peter Ticktin is a leading attorney known for his work in constitutional law, government accountability, and the legal structures that support America’s election systems. His background in complex evidence disputes and high‑stakes investigations has made him a trusted analyst in current public discussions about election processes and voting integrity. As various commentators continue to circulate allegations involving tabulator vulnerabilities, data‑handling concerns, ballot‑box irregularities, and voter‑roll issues, Ticktin’s ability to break down these claims and explain their legal implications offers officials a clear, informed perspective on the challenges shaping today’s election‑related debates.
Ticktin, founder and senior managing partner of The Ticktin Law Group, has been practicing law since 1972, and has built a career on taking cases that others won’t touch. From defeating the Uniform Summons in Ontario to leading early HIV litigation, he has consistently fought for those without a voice. He played a central role in uncovering the robo‑signing scandal that led to a $30 billion settlement secured by all 50 state attorneys general during the mortgage-fraud scandals of the 2010s.

Patrick Wood
Patrick Wood is a leading and critical expert on Sustainable Development, Green Economy, Agenda 21, 2030 Agenda and historic Technocracy.
He is the author of Technocracy: The Hard Road to World Order, Technocracy Rising: The Trojan Horse of Global Transformation (2015) and co-author of Trilaterals Over Washington, Volumes I and II (1978-1980) with the late Antony C. Sutton.
Wood remains a leading expert on the elitist Trilateral Commission, their policies and achievements in creating their self-proclaimed “New International Economic Order” which is the essence of Sustainable Development on a global scale.
An economist by education, a financial analyst and writer by profession and an American Constitutionalist by choice, Wood maintains a Biblical world view and has deep historical insights into the modern attacks on sovereignty, property rights and personal freedom. Such attacks are epitomized by the implementation of U.N. policies such as Agenda 21, Sustainable Development, Smart Growth and in education, the widespread adoption of Common Core State Standards.
Wood is a frequent speaker and guest on radio shows around the nation. His current research builds on Trilateral Commission hegemony, focusing on Technocracy, Transhumanism and Scientism, and how these are transforming global economics, politics and religion.
Theresa Manzella
Theresa Manzella
From 2015 to 2021, Theresa Manzella served in the Montana House, representing District 85. She ran for the state senate in 2021 after noticing the previous senator’s voting habits had changed and were not in keeping with Americanism and Constitutionalism. She has a current Freedom Index State Score of 94.
Theresa is a proud member of The John Birch Society and is the field coordinator for Idaho and Montana. She has an “A” rated voting record with the Montana Family Foundation, Montana Shooting Sports Association, United Property Owners of Montana, and earned the Conservative Achievement Award from the American Conservative Union for voting in adherence to the U.S. Constitution over the past three sessions. She is the 2017 “Keeper of the 10th” award winner for preserving States Rights and has also received the Phyllis Schlafly Eagle Forum Award.
Theresa says “My principles aren’t for sale to the highest bidder or the latest special interest. As a true Conservative, I will always fight for our citizens’ individual rights, and against government overreach.
David Iverson
David Iverson
David graduated first in his class from Buffalo High School. He is an Eagle Scout, studied History at Sheridan College and Regis University. He won two College National Speech and Debate championships and was recently awarded the “District Alumni of the Year Award” by debate coaches in Wyoming, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Southern Montana. David is an avid sportsman. When he is not at the range, he is stalking his next fish somewhere in the Bighorn Mountains. He worked as a project manager for a multi-million-dollar pipeline company. In that capacity he gained extensive knowledge of federal regulatory permitting. If there is one thing he knows it is how to deal with the federal government and why we need to resist attempts to increase its size. David is the host of Cowboy State Politics and very active in the fight to oppose an Article V Convention.

Janine Hansen is the Director of Nevada Families for Freedom, an Eagle Forum affiliate, and the Eagle Forum National Constitutional Issues Chairman. She has been the editor of the Nevada Families/Eagle Forum monthly newsletter since 1974. She is also the State Chairman of the Independent American Party of Nevada the state affiliate of The Constitution Party. She has been in the liberty fight for decades, and she has the battle scars to prove it. Among her notable achievements is leading the charge and defeating the Article V battles in multiple states and building coalitions with our Birch Field Coordinators from Alaska to Maine, California to Florida and everywhere in-between. JP Cortez is the Executive Director of the Sound Money Defense League, an organization working to remonetize gold and silver through nationwide legislative efforts. Phil Lyman is a 5th generation Utahn whose bold and fearless leadership is well-known in San Juan County and throughout the region. As county commissioner, Lyman led a peaceful protest against federal closure of public roads. The following year, the Utah Association of Counties voted Lyman “Commissioner of the Year” for his unrelenting commitment to defend his constituents and their rights.
Lyman’s early career showed he had both the talent and the work ethic to make a significant difference in developing communities. After earning a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Brigham Young University followed by a master’s degree in taxation from the University of Utah, Lyman returned to his hometown of Blanding when his father unexpectedly passed away and assumed responsibility for the CPA firm his father founded. Lyman co-founded Blanding’s first Rotary Club as the charter president and created and led the Blanding Area Travel Council.
Lyman has been pivotal in transforming healthcare throughout San Juan County. He helped organize and launch Utah Navajo Health Systems – today the largest private employer in the county. As a county commissioner, he created the San Juan Public Health Department and expanded public health.
As a county commissioner, Lyman worked tirelessly to preserve roads and access to public lands and to reduce the vast federal hold on Utah’s public lands.
He served as chair of the Seven-County Infrastructure Coalition, working closely other county commissioners and with federal and state agencies to develop vital infrastructure, including the San Rafael Research Center, pipeline and rail easements for oilfields and improve rail line delivery system, while preserving autonomy for the counties, cities, and families.
As a state legislator, Lyman sponsored or co-sponsored 65 bills in his four sessions and was chair/co-chair of the conservative caucus throughout his service. He championed property and water rights, rural healthcare, natural resources management, critical needs of indigenous people, and pushed back on federal attempts to control state areas of authority.
Dan Happel
Dan Happel
Dan Happel lives with his wife Ingrid on a ranch in beautiful Southwestern Montana. Dan is a retired Commercial Building Contractor, served as a County Commissioner, has been a Montana Legislative Consultant for nearly two decades, and has been a conservative talk radio show/podcast host for the past 12 years with a worldwide audience on his podcast called Connecting the Dots with Dan Happel. Dan is nationally recognized as an expert and public speaker on the UN’s Agenda 21/2030; Money, Banking, and the Federal Reserve System; The History of Progressive Socialism in America; he writes a twice weekly newsletter under the banner of Connecting the Dots; and occasionally teaches US Constitution classes to audiences in Montana. He has been an officer in County and State Republican Party organizations over a period of 30 years; having led the effort in Montana to make elected leaders honor their oath of office and to take the RINO out of Republican politics. He has worked diligently with Robert Brown and others to derail the Article 5 Convention movement in Montana and is active in the national Sound Money movement to return to a non-fiat (gold and silver backed) constitutional monetary system.
Dan was one of the Founding Members and Event Director of the Red Pill Expo’s with Executive Director G. Edward Griffin, serves on the Leadership Council of Freedom Force International, serves on the Kitchen Cabinet of Major General Paul Vallely’s Stand Up America – USA, has served on numerous Boards and Commissions over a period of 50 years, and has served as an Advisor/Associate-Executive Producer on seven James Jaeger Documentary Movies featuring Congressman Ron Paul, Dr. Edwin Vieira, G. Edward Griffin, Pat Buchanan, David Morgan, among many others. Dan has been an active member of the John Birch Society for several decades, having interviewed and cultivated friendships with many of their leaders.

Wayne’s involvement with The John Birch Society began in the mid-1970s, he was a Field Coordinator, National Field Director, Vice President and most recently was promoted to CEO in Fall of 2024. He has been deeply inspired by The John Birch Society mission to preserve and pass on America’s heritage and founding values to future generations. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he is proudly married to his wife and best friend, Janny. Together, they are blessed with a wonderful family. Wayne remains committed to the Society’s moral responsibility to speak the truth, educate the public, and expose the destructive plans being advanced against the cause of freedom and humanity at every turn.

William “Bill” Jasper is President of the John Birch Society and one of America’s top investigative journalists. He served as an accredited correspondent at the United Nations in New York and at UN summits around the world. He has written and spoken about the global collectivist threat extensively. His is renowned for his in-depth, years-long investigation of the Oklahoma City bombing and its aftermath. He is the author of The United Nations Exposed, and Global Tyranny … Step by Step. Jasper is a Senior Editor at our New American magazine.

Dan Sexson
Dan Sexson is currently serving as the National Field Director of The John Birch Society. An active volunteer member since just out of high school, serving as the head counselor at JBS Summer Camps in South Dakota, and assisting Field Coordinators in Nebraska and Virginia while in college and graduate school, he was hired in September of 1990 to serve as a Field Coordinator for Kansas and Missouri.
He says, Birching has been kind of a passion for him. Asked to move off the family farm outside Grant, Nebraska, to the Kansas City, Missouri area, he met and married his wonderful wife, Jannette. They are parents of four and grandparents of five with one on the way. Dan and Jannette have resided in St. Peters, Missouri since 1995.

Eldon Stahl serves as Field Coordinator for The John Birch Society in Utah, Wyoming and Eastern Nevada. Since 2010, he has educated, organized, trained, and recruited volunteers to stand up for liberty by mobilizing an army of educational activists. A graduate of Brigham Young University, Eldon and his family call Wyoming their home.

Current JBS Director of Development, Marden has served in multiple capacities within JBS. He was elected Mayor of his North Central Florida town on a JBS Platform in April 2025 after serving 12 years as a City Commissioner with remarkable results.
