The New Economics of Technocracy
In this presentation at the 2026 JBS Conference in Salt Lake City, author Patrick Wood discusses the implementation of technocracy in the United States and worldwide. Wood, who has authored multiple books about technocracy, including his latest book The New Economics of Technocracy: You Will Own Nothing, begins by explaining what technocracy is and highlighting its reach within the Trump administration. He explains the three-layer architecture of a technocratic, closed economy (programmable money, asset tokenization, and digital identity) and the role of AI, and highlights recent initiatives — including congressional legislation and foreign-policy initiatives — implementing technocracy. He concludes by explaining what patriots can do to stop this technocratic takeover, followed by a Q&A session.
