Amid Chaos, Canada Ratifies USMCA/ CUSMA

Shortly before suspending Parliament because of the chaos, Canadian lawmakers rushed to unanimously pass Bill C-4, known as the Canada–United States–Mexico Agreement (CUSMA) Implementation Act, becoming the final country to ratify the USMCA, with a date of enforcement for June 1, 2020.
