G. Michael Lohr
The John Birch Society
Michael Lohr is a member of the Board of Directors and Life Member of The John Birch Society. He joined the Society in 1978, reflecting more than four decades of active commitment to the organization and its principles.
Mr. Lohr grew up in South Carolina, where his father, George, was a JBS chapter leader. The son studied biology and geology but went into technology sales and founded a telecom company, Ensource, Inc. He and his partners later sold it to a global technology company where they all continued to work.
Following in his father’s footsteps, Mr. Lohr became a JBS chapter and section leader in Jacksonville, Florida, where he lives with his wife. They have two children and two grandchildren.
Lohr has brought his experience in business and organizational leadership to his service with The John Birch Society and remains committed to educating Americans about the principles of limited, constitutional government and the importance of preserving America’s independence and sovereignty.
