The John Birch Society is a grassroots education and action organization working to restore America to the principles found in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.
Knowledge without action leads to frustration, so we will help you turn information into effective action. What Happens when I Join?
Your new membership will be pending until a local field coordinator is able to reach you via phone or email. Please visit the Contact Coordinator page to get their contact info and create a new contact in your phone so you will know who they are when they call. Feel free to reach out to them to let them know you just joined. Your local coordinator will approve your membership after they communicate with you.
Within a few days of your membership approval you will receive a Welcome packet from the JBS headquarters with your membership card and other material to help you get started. In the meantime, please invest the time to get to know The John Birch Society and our agenda by reviewing our video library and reading information on our website.

Frequent Questions and Answers
How do I change my membership from digital to print?
Print is more costly than digital. If you would like to switch from one to another, simply choose the level of membership you are wanting on the website and make that payment, we will update your account accordingly. Print costs $87.00, and digital costs $48.00.
Can I renew my membership online and how?
Yes! Visit our membership-renewal page, choose the level of membership and check out. We will update your account accordingly.
Once I’ve purchased membership online what can I expect next?
After your payment processes, application is accepted, and you have talked with your coordinator, the web servers will take less than one week to fully update and upgrade your account. Manual exceptions can be made for you if you are in a hurry. Please give us a call. If you notice you have any issues with your account being fully upgraded, or have any issues logging in or using Members Area features, please contact customer service for assistance.
I cannot log onto my account on JBSArchives.org or ShopJBS.org
Start by registering on the site if you have not already done so. If you have registered and have forgotten your password, attempt to recover your password and check your spam folder if you do not receive your password reset link.

Please contact Customer Service and use the contact form to request help with the website. Archives are accessed in the same way using your same login information. All that has changed is the look and layout. We will be updating the archives site in the near future, and we will keep you informed via email as those changes occur.
How do I find out about Chapters in my area?
If you are a member, please contact your local coordinator, or contact Customer Service and we will be happy to assist you.
How do I update my address/email online?
Log into your account at ShopJBS.org, and you will be able to update your contact information.
Will I get a membership card?
Yes, you will receive a membership card with your welcome letter.
How do I cancel my membership?
