“Fixing Birthright Citizenship”
One of the justices on the U.S. Supreme Court explained that Congress could likely fix the “birthright citizenship” issue through legislation rather than requiring a constitutional amendment.
Law professor Col. John Eidsmoe (Ret.), who also serves as a pastor, explains that the U.S. Constitution remains in force. However, if America hopes to survive as a free nation, a return to biblical principles and sound constitutional jurisprudence is essential.
In particular, he examines several clauses of the U.S. Constitution that have been deliberately misinterpreted and misapplied. These include the General Welfare Clause and the Interstate Commerce Clause. But it’s not too late to turn things around.
