Stop Pro-world-government Massachusetts Resolution S.2457
Alert Summary

Members of the Massachusetts General Court are seeking to pass S.2457, which explicitly calls for transforming the United Nations into a one-world government.

What Can You Do?

Contact your state legislators

Please help stop S.2457 by contacting your state legislators. Inform them of the many reasons why the United Nations threatens American sovereignty and individual freedom, and urge them to defend state and national sovereignty.

Why it Matters

Members of the Massachusetts General Court are seeking to pass a resolution that explicitly calls for transforming the United Nations into a one-world government.

Senate Resolution No. 2457 (S.2457) is sponsored by Senator Brendan Crighton (D-Lynn). This resolution explicitly calls for turning the United Nations into a true one-world government. It declares:

Whereas, the United Nations has failed to save the people of the earth from the scourge of war because of its structural inability to enact and enforce international law….

Whereas, an effective and revised charter must include these essentials of democratic federal government:

A representative and democratic global legislature with authority to enact international law;

An executive, responsible to the legislature, with the authority to enforce international law;

A court system to interpret international law, a system with compulsory jurisdiction to adjudicate disputes between nation-states and individual world citizens;

A Bill of Rights to guarantee the basic rights and civil liberties essential to a democratic republic form of government; now therefore be it

Resolved, that the Massachusetts Senate calls upon the President and Congress of the United States to call for a conference to review the Charter of the United Nations, and to propose or support amendments which will ensure its transformation into a United Federation of Nations, with powers which, while defined and limited to international affairs, shall be adequate to ensure global tranquility by preserving peace and preventing aggression through the enactment, interpretation and enforcement of world law;

A one-world government would decimate American freedom and independence. As Lord Acton noted, “Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.” Since a one-world government would exist without any real competition (i.e., it would have absolute power, regardless of its form of government), nothing would prevent it from violating God-given rights.

From the start, the UN was a project of the Deep State to achieve a one-world government. This goal is becoming increasingly apparent as the UN’s tentacles increasingly strangle the sovereignty of the United States and other countries.

The New American article “United Nations: On the Brink of Becoming a World Government” illustrates the breadth of the UN’s reach. The UN and its many agencies and associated entities, including the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, Global Development Learning Network, and the Office for Project Services have many offices around the world. The UN also has many thousands of “peacekeeping” soldiers stationed worldwide.

Not only is the UN already developing a world governmental bureaucracy, but its international-socialist policies are completely antithetical to the U.S. Constitution and the Declaration of Independence.

Among other policies, the UN is pushing for extreme gun control, mass migration, totalitarian “climate change” measures, vaccine passports, indoctrinating children with leftist ideology, establishing a centralized global police force, and so much more.

Contact your state representative and senator, and urge them to oppose S.2457 and instead support legislation that protects state and national sovereignty.
