It is imperative that Congress support this legislation and uncompromisingly defend U.S. sovereignty from the WHO. Urge your U.S. Representative to support H.R. 54 and Get US Out! of the WHO.

Why it Matters

U.S. Representative Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.) has introduced legislation to withdraw the United States from the World Health Organization (WHO). House Resolution No. 54 (H.R. 54) currently has 21 cosponsors, including U.S. Representatives Thomas Massie (R-Ky.), Eric Burlison (R-Mo.), and Harriet Hageman (R-Wyo.), among others. If successful, H.R. 54 would repeal the Act of June 14, 1948:

The Act of June 14, 1948 (Public Law 80-643; 62 Stat. 441; 22 U.S.C. 290 et seq.), providing for membership and participation by the United States in the World Health Organization and authorizing an appropriation therefor, is repealed.

Congress should only allocate federal resources within the boundaries set by the Constitution, not fund globalist organizations. It is imperative for Congress to support this legislation to withdraw the United States from the WHO and all other foreign entanglements.

H.R. 54 would not only withdraw the United States from the WHO, but prohibit it from participating in any successor organization:

Effective on the date of the enactment of this Act— (1) the President shall withdraw the United States from the Constitution of the World Health Organization (62 Stat. 2679; 14 U.N.T.S. 186); and (2) no funds available to any Federal department or agency may be used to provide for the participation of the United States in the World Health Organization or any successor organization.

H.R. 54 would remove the WHO’s globalist influence on U.S. government policy. Withdrawing from the WHO would guard against external policies that do not align with U.S. constitutional values. In 2022, Representative Biggs stated that former President Joe Biden gave the WHO authority over U.S. policy, threatening the sovereignty of our nation:

Despite the WHO’s failure to objectively provide health guidance to the world, President Biden now seeks to give the WHO more authority to define what a pandemic is, how long a pandemic lasts, and encroach upon the sovereignty of nation’s [sic] like ours. It’s unacceptable. My legislation ensures that we protect American interests first.

Additionally, Representative Biggs noted that the WHO is not only one of the most corrupt UN agencies, but compromised by Communist China:

For years, the WHO has undermined American interests and remains one of the most corrupt and ineffective international institutions…. The organization has been compromised by China and has sabotaged many public health investigations–including the COVID investigation in Wuhan.

If passed, H.R. 54 would protect U.S. sovereignty and strengthen protections of American’s God-given rights.

Congress must act to protect God-given rights and defend U.S. sovereignty against globalism. Urge your U.S. representative and senators to support H.R. 54 to get us out of the WHO — and ultimately out of the entire United Nations!
