What an interesting time we live in! We’re in the midst of an economic recession/recovery (depending on who you ask), banking and auto industries have been taken over by the federal government, the healthcare industry may suffer the same fate, taxpayers will be paying for inflated blue book prices on used vehicles as a result of the cash for clunkers program, the FDA wants to regulate the garden we plant (okay, perhaps that’s a stretch), we face huge energy cost increases with proposed cap-and-trade legislation, and the media is having a grand time connecting birthers with Birchers. Did I forget anything? Oh yes, and the Democratic leadership in Washington is saying the outrage to their healthcare bill is fake, funded by the healthcare industry and if you oppose it, you’re un-American. This must be why JBS has not slowed down this summer.

In the past, summer has been a slower period, but not this time. Given the current flood of legislation and the slippery slope the government is sliding down in its drive to coddle Americans from cradle to grave, JBS is booming! Recently announced is the JBS Speakers Bureau Tour, “Exposing Terrorism,” featuring JBS CEO Art Thompson. He has been scheduled in nearly 20 cities beginning September 22.
