The John Birch Society Welcomes Robert Brown as New Coordinator in Montana
Constitutional advocates expands Field Staff to organize volunteers to carry out JBS mission of limited government, more responsibility, with God’s help, a better world

APPLETON, WIS.—July 24, 2009—The John Birch Society welcomes Robert Brown as a new Coordinator to its Field Staff.  As Coordinator, Brown will be responsible for organizing volunteer leaders and allies of The John Birch Society in the state of Montana.

Jim Fitzgerald, JBS National Director of Field Activities, says expanding the existing organizational structure in Montana is part of the organization’s strategy to reach an ever-increasing group of concerned Americans.  He says, “The current economic climate has caused many to question the proper role of government, the consequences to future generations, and solutions to the economic crisis.  The John Birch Society prides itself on providing Constitutional solutions for the problems of today.”

The Society offers many opportunities for concerned Americans to educate themselves on the problems and solutions, as well as ways to locally organize.

Brown lives in Helena with his wife and their eight children.  He is originally from Utah, is a former insurance agent and was named as a 2006 Honorary Member to the Top 50 Conservatives list published by Idahoans for Tax Reform.
