New polls in the UK are showing that a large number of doctors there have safety concerns about the vaccine for the dreaded swine flu plague, and many will refuse the opportunity to be vaccinated.

News that half of general practitioners in the country will refuse the swine flu vaccine appeared in the UK Daily Mail. According to the report, "more than two thirds of those who will turn the jab down believe it has not been tested enough. Most also believe the flu has turned out to be so mild in the vast majority of cases that the vaccine is not needed."

The reported results stem from two recent polls, one conducted of doctors for Pulse magazine and a separate poll conducted for GP magazine. The poll for GP found "that 29 per cent would definitely opt out of having the jab, while a further 29 per cent were unsure. Just 41 per cent said they would definitely have the jab."

The poll for Pulse, meanwhile, found that 49 percent would reject the vaccine. Commenting on the results, Richard Hoey, the editor of Pulse, said: "The medical profession has yet to be convinced by the Government's whole approach to swine flu, with most GPs now feeling that the Department of Health overreacted...."

The results in the polls in the UK showing that half of doctors will refuse the vaccine are in step with results from similar polls taken elsewhere. Reporting on a survey conducted with health care workers in Hong Kong, the British Medical Journal reported "that just over half of 8500 healthcare workers ... said they would not be vaccinated against the swine flu because of fears of side effects and doubts about the vaccine's effectiveness."

Governments in both the UK and the United States, however, remain eager to push as many citizens as possible into taking the vaccine, despite the serious concerns expressed by so many health professionals.

Doctors "have a duty to their patients not to infect their patients and they have a duty to their families," complained Professor David Salisbury of the UK Department of Health about those who would resist socialistic mass immunization programs. A spokesman for the British Medical Association, a professional association for doctors in the UK, also indicated that doctors should knuckle under and take the government vaccine. "The new vaccine has been thoroughly tested," the spokesman said, according to the Daily Mail. "It is important that doctors are among the first to be offered the vaccine as it will not only protect them but the patients they care for."

In the U.S., where government agencies like the CDC are also gearing up for a massive vaccination campaign, many have similar concerns, and there is worry also that testing of the vaccine has been rushed and is incomplete. This is particular concerning as many remember the 1976 outbreak of swine flu during which vaccination caused more deaths than the disease it was intended to prevent. Indeed, the Daily Mail notes that today's vaccine still raises concerns that it "can spark cases of Guillain Barre Syndrome, which can lead to paralysis and even death."

In the U.S., testing is underway at a breakneck pace. Speaking to the Associated Press, Sharon Frey, leader of government-funded testing at Saint Louis University, said researchers have been working nights and weekends to organize studies and recruit volunteers. "Typically it takes a year to do this," Frey told AP of the frantic attempt to prepare the vaccine. "I can tell you, we're working at breakneck speed."

The testing is accompanied with a thorough pro-vaccination propaganda campaign. According to a local Atlanta NBC affiliate station, the CDC is even selling a swine flu stuffed animal in its gift store. "The fuzzy, stuffed toy that resembles a microbe of the H1N1 virus, commonly known as 'swine flu' is sold in the CDC's gift shop, along with several other toy versions of microbes.

Meanwhile, across the country millions of dollars are being spent to promote the vaccine. In Somerville, MA, according to Boston.com, the CDC is hosting a swine flu forum that is open to 100 members of the public who will be paid a $50 stipend to attend. In addition to receiving a $50 check, courtesy of taxpayers, the forum includes a catered lunch, according to the Boston.com report. The CDC plans to hold 10 sessions around the country before Labor Day.

According to at least one report, the swine flu propaganda push will cost taxpayers as much as $16 million — money spent to promote an unconstitutional program that only a socialized-medicine bureaucrat could love.

So why would WE mere peasants want to heed their advice, therby trusting them, and take some "who knows what" kind of shot? After all, the Insiders are the ones who got us into all these messes ... do I really trust them to inject me? Every year I took the "flu shot," I came down with at least one case of horrible flu. But when I learned that the vaccine was made in France by members of the "you know who" community (sorry, but in this PC world, I cannot in good conscience profile or cast aspersions on these peaceloving folks), I quit taking the flu shot. And, voila, NOT ONE CASE OF FLU since!!! I'll take my chances, thank you very much.

She has brought criminal charges against them through the Vienna police and the FBI charging that there is criminal intent to distribute the vaccine in the U.K and the U.S. to cause a large scale pandemic.
