With the words "United Future Global Currency" on one side and New World Order catch phrase "Unity in Diversity" on the other, the golden Eurodollar signifies the introduction of a global currency.

"Here it is" said Russian President Medvedev proudly, "You can see it, you can touch it." He was holding a test coin that merged the Euro and the dollar and would be a step towards a single global currency. "In all likelihood something similar could appear and it could be held in your hand and used as a means of payment," he told reporters. "This is the international currency."

The coin that Medvedev held in his hand was gold with "United Future Global Currency" written in English and the image of "the Tree of Life, with five leaves symbolizing local tree species that grow in the five continents" on one side. On the obverse was a number "One" superimposed five times with the words "Unity and Diversity" around it.

"Although the initial aim is to unite the United States of America with the United States of Europe, it will also be open to other Countries" boldly states the United Future Currency website, which also gives the history and mission of the "Eurodollar," as the coin is being called. Interesting how prototype test coins uniting the euro and the dollar, and the scheduling of "an important public test run at the 2015 Milan Universal Expo" have all appeared without the American or European public's weighing in on the idea. Instead, the same heads of state and global leaders (many of them CFR members) who have been clamoring to remove the dollar as the world reserve currency and replace it with a single new global currency were given these prototypes as "gifts" at the G8 summit in Italy this July. Isn’t it ironic how quickly their request was designed, minted, and gift wrapped?

Though the eurodollar prototype and concept was something of a surprise to the general public, a much more elaborate introduction is being planned for the world’s children. "The final name and symbol for the new currency will be decided in a competition for children in 1,000 schools throughout the world, organized by the Museo del Tempo," the website proudly announces.

"It is interesting that young students from different countries can get involved in an international project that helps them understand certain aspects of international economic policy, allowing them to prepare for the future monetary union that we hope for," Sandro Sassoli, the coordinator of the whole project of this future world currency, commented.  Would one of these aspects include the fact that there can’t be a single world currency without a single monetary policy and therefore a single world government to organize and govern it?

"A single currency is possible only if there is in effect a single monetary policy, and a single authority issuing the currency and directing the monetary policy. How can independent states accomplish that? They need to turn over the determination of monetary policy to a supranational body” noted Harvard Professor Richard M. Cooper in the Journal of the Council on Foreign Relations Foreign Affairs (Fall, 1984).  How conveniently this “world in a coin,” as the eurodollar bills itself, is getting a new and innocent generation acclimated to the idea.

Meanwhile, the website makes no bones about using this currency as a vehicle towards something on a grander scale. "Money is the only human invention capable of embodying both dreams and reality in an indissoluble bond; it is the abstract distributor of hope and a concrete means of controlling the lives of human beings and nations" (emphasis added).

The United World Currency "manifesto" goes further stating: "It will be the responsibility of the world's future citizens and the governments they put in place to make our Project a reality. This project is driven by a firm belief in the unification and co-existence of different peoples. It aims to promote an increasingly equal distribution of the planet's resources and human intellect."

Real Gold If you look at the website for this coin http://www.futureworldcurrency...mentID=187 you can see that it is .999 gold. They even want the paper money they issue to be backed by gold. The problem isn't what it's made of but who will make the decision as to how it is to be distributed, and what the monetary policy is. As the article said, it would take a global government to have a global currency.
