Obama, Lady GaGa, and the Homosexual Agenda PDF Print E-mail

Lady Gaga applauded by ObamaA skilled rhetorician, President Barack Obama sent a strong message on Saturday evening, when he spoke at a banquet of the Human Rights Campaign, the leading homosexual activist organization this nation has seen. His message? That he will work for the defeat of the Defense of Marriage Act, and to promote the “rights" of gay couples.

Obama proudly billed himself as the opening act for Lady GaGa — a bisexual with a penchant for wearing tops or bottoms, but not simultaneously — who was part of the featured entertainment for the evening at the dinner, which black-tie attendees paid $250 a plate to experience, saying he was privileged to do so.

But he quickly moved on to mentioning celebrities in attendance like Tipper Gore, after which his affirming comment was duly noted: “You will see a time in which we as a nation finally recognize relationships between two men or two women as just as real and admirable as relationships between a man and a woman.”

Well, most people do recognize many different relationships, as Tony Perkins from the Family Research Council says: There are a lot of relationships — between parents and children, between siblings, between close friends and neighbors, between members of a high school football team — that are "real and admirable," but that are never referred to as "marriage." And they certainly don’t cry out for special treatment.

Pledging that he would (personally?) end the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” military policy,
Obama more forcefully stated:

I support ensuring that committed gay couples have the same rights and responsibilities afforded to any married couple in this country. I believe strongly in stopping laws designed to take rights away and passing laws that extend equal rights to gay couples. I’ve required all agencies in the federal government to extend as many federal benefits as possible to LGBT families as the current law allows. And I’ve called on Congress to repeal the so-called Defense of Marriage Act and to pass the Domestic Partners Benefits and Obligations Act. And we must all stand together against divisive and deceptive efforts to feed people’s lingering fears for political and ideological gain.

How easily he dismisses Christian morals and values, substituting his own standards instead.

Obama addressed the pro-homosexual crowd with this critique: "Some may wish to define you solely by your sexual orientation or gender identity.”

But it is the homosexuals who define themselves by their sexual activities; it is they who insist upon calling attention to themselves publicly and loudly by championing their lifestyles; it is they who seek creation of a special class that wants extra-special treatment and recognition.

Disregarding this country’s overwhelming support for DOMA, this president will go even further, forcing employers to subsidize homosexual relationships by law, creating a specially protected class for distribution of specific benefits. And since there are no laws that “take rights away” from homosexuals — he certainly didn’t and couldn’t specify any — he will see to it that this special class of people will be extended more rights than heterosexuals. Talk about “divisive and deceptive efforts"!

Feeding people’s “lingering fears for political and ideological gain,” by silencing any opposition is his game. Protecting the Constitution and its Christian heritage is out the door. Upholding traditional morals and values is passé. On with the new Cultural Revolution!

The new director of relativism is warning that "[I]f any of my nominees are attacked not for what they believe but for who they are, I will not waver in my support." We assume Obama is referring to his school safety czar Kevin Jennings. But so far, the criticism directed at Jennings has been for his statements, not his personal behavior, so the threat is disingenuous.

Societies reap many benefits from marriage, therefore marriage — and family, something the homosexuals cannot sustain on their own — serves the common good and deserves protection. Marriage is a universally accepted and recognized institution that is the foundation for any — crossing all cultures and over millennia — civil society, human progress, and general flourishing of humanity.

By granting a higher status to those with disordered appetites, or animalistic appetites, or any perversity outside of the Natural Law — where would it end? — one would destroy a civilized society in short order, creating havoc and an immoral cesspool.

"[D]o not doubt the direction we are heading and the destination we will reach,” were the arrogant and challenging words of the president.

We have no doubt the direction he wishes to plunge all Americans.

That’s why we intend to stand firm in our convictions, according to the Natural Law our Creator has given us.

Our rights come from God not from the constitution or declaration of independence. Marriage is defined in the Holy Bible as a lifelong union between one man and one women. Sex outside marriage is sin for which payment (wages) must be paid.

Why aren't you folks satisfied with a civil union? Marriage is a "sacrament" of the Catholic religion. Why do we need to change the founding principles of Catholocism for gay/lesbian/transgender people? Marriage in all cultures has always been between a man + woman. Why is the majority suppose to change for the minority? Have your civil unions, and legal rights and leave the sacrament of marriage alone! This is what the liberal left always wants-change everything for the minority. That's why we're having the health care battle also. The majority wants to improve on what we have, the minority wants radical detrimental change.

Be grateful for your freedom to breathe.

You don't have the "right" to impose your repulsive lifestyle choices on the sanctity of marriage, anymore than we have the "right" to hang you from a tree for making them.

Divorce is unholy enough. Homosexual perversion would just destroy what little sanctity marriage has left.

The homosexual diversion
Last I checked, homosexuality is no more of an abomination in the eyes of God than adultery. The penalty is the same.

The number of broken marriages and families caused by the sin of adultery is orders of magnitudes greater than anything produced by homosexuality.

Pastors and the righteous love the homosexual debate because it affords them the cover necessary to look the other way upon a congregation of good dues paying adulterers.

You rightly acknowledge that the federal Constitution makes no reference to marriage. However, your conclusions based on this are incorrect. The fact that Congress has no right to legislate on marriage doesn't mean that the Courts should. In fact, it means just the opposite. The truth is that this matter should be left up to the states, although it certainly would be a shame if the federal government would not be able to rob the American people of as much money with their unconstitutional Social Secrity and Income taxes.

This whole disgusting business...
... is based on the notion that homosexuality is legitimate. I'm worried because the last society I'm aware of that openly supported homosexuality is Sodom and Gamorah.

We all know what happened to them. When will we learn?

Next, pedophiles like Roman Polanski will want their perverted choices legitimized.
[sarcasm]After all, he's as "human" as the homosexuals and has feelings that need to be respected. Maybe the courts need to legitimize his repulsive lifestyle choices and allow pedophiles to screw 13 year old girls because that's how his god made him.[/sarcasm]

Sometimes I pray for God to smite our cesspool of degradation just like He did to Sodom and Gomorrah. It would do America a world of good.

When men and women of character and morality MAKE it end! You know, the way we are supposed to defeat all evil...

With the swords we sold our garments to obtain!
