Lesser magistrates in the States

By the way, I sent the above information (Liberty Defense League, including the Marbury v. Madison article, and 10th Amendment Center information on DiLorenzo's free podcast on "Nullification" and their model legislation) to my the Rep and Senator of my _State_. We are at the verge of a legal stand in a majority of States, telling the Feds where their jurisdiction ends. It is easier to invest resources effectively at the State level election battles - do not forget the State and other lesser magistrates in 2010! - Pat Henry

John Howard must have been indoctrinated by a fool or a pinko

John Howard says that " The Constitution was mainly devoted to the establishment of a very powerful ruling class"

Well, what can I say Mr. Howard, some people are smarter and have a deeper understanding of the world than others. You expect perfection in this world and you aren't going to get it. If you don't appreciate the closest thing to perfect government the world has ever known ( the American republic) you are a fool.

You wouldn't like Heaven either because it is ruled by one God.

baby steps won't do it.

Some propose a gradual reverse-fabianism as a way to return to a limited, constitutional government. That simply won't do it; the fabian socialists are very good at taking and holding ground. We got here by a method which is simply explained: socialists propose plan A which is too outrageous to pass. So-called "conservatives" propose plan B, which is a baby step in that direction. A "compromise" is chosen which is two, four, or eight baby steps in the direction of statism. Rinse and repeat ad nauseum.

To succeed, we must propose Big Changes - such as "reduce every single federal budget, no exceptions, by 30% right across the board this year, and 30% next year." When the statists scream, compromise at 25 or 25%. Repeat as needed.

Propose the total elimination of the Department of Education. As a halfway measure, a compromise, let the statists cut the budget in half.

This only works if you have no, repeat no sacred cows. It is reverse log-rolling. You cut budget A, I cut budget B. There is nothing in the federal budget which does not have gobs and gobs of fat. - terrymac

THE CONSTITUTION - A PROGRESSIVE DESEASE

We are where we are because we started where we started. The Constitution was mainly devoted to the establishment of a very powerful ruling class with minor - and self administered - limits on its powers and enough vague rhetoric that those limits were easily overthrown - almost before the ink was dry.

If you don't like the Oak Tree, why wish for the acorn. - John Howard

The Constitution Party is not a "Third" party - it is fourth or fifth party. The actual Third Party will continue to be ignored by the media as it has been for 30 years because it actually does mean what the Constitution Party claims to mean. Either the Constitution Party is honest - and is therefore a redundant imitation of the Libertarian Party - or it is a dishonest and redundant imitation of the Republican Party. If it is honest, it will be smeared and then ignored. If it succeeds, it will be because it is merely a wing of the Republican Party, which is itself a wing of the ruling party. In no way will the helpless subjects be allowed to vote for - and actually get - less government.

Circuses and bread are replaced by elections and counterfeit clunker cash. But nothing has changed. - John Reading

Okay guys, THERE IS A 3RD PARTY!!!! Most of our country has this mindset that we are to choose the lesser of the 2 evils; NOT TRUE!!!! The Constitution Party is alive and kicking and it has been for years; go to www.constitutionparty.com and if you are in Texas www.cptx.us. We had a write in last year since the Republicans and Democrats make the rules up for ballot access, we had to petition to get on the ballot and did not get enough signatures, so our candidates were write-ins. Check out the Constitution Party. - hinesite20

secessionism

The solution is to educate voters on the basics of economics, the proper role of government and activate them to be as active as they possibly can be, nothing will ever change in Washington except the faces. You'll still have socialism and its partner in crime - big government. You'll still have socialism because the voters are still Not educated enough to know the difference between the "political tranvestites" and the real constitutionalist McCoy. ( check out this video to see where I got that one from ===(http://www.jbs.org/news-center/birchtube/402-Education+is+the+Key+by+Congressmen+Lawence+McDonald?userid=94

Secessionism is one of those "silver bullet" solutions." It is no solution as long as the people remain totally ignorant that the problem is one of people working in secret to create economic, cultural and political upheavel in order to conquer us from within. Until enough people recognize the enemy they won't win via a seccession movement or any other movement simply because they don't know who they are fighting against.

An army has to be trained and disciplined and given an objective. Secessionists still need to go back to step one - training (educating) sufficient numbers so that they properly understand their country and their enemy. Coming onto well informed conservative websites and shouting "secession" will get you nowhere since we know that the educational aspect is still the only way to restore the Republic. Your way will lead to another Waco tragedy and massacre.

I say secession and start over. The constitution needs to be closely examined...it is not really for a document for "we the people" it was designed and drafted to protect and benefit the very peoples it is protecting and benefitting today - a small group of financiers, whose interests lay in North America and beyond, the USA is a corporation not a sovereign country...investigate the Globalist Agenda. - Alaine M

Educate Citizen Joe by informed voting of intelligent non-self serving representatives regardless of Party. Make sure they get voted in by not falling for third party snipers with CFR connections/endorsements. Constitutionalists are currently a strong party, they need funding and exposure. Two party Conservatives like Rush are misleading us and being payed well to do it. Fundamental tenants of leadership say we must have our heroes, but not at the expense of our morals.

1) uphold the heart of the 10th Amendment and put the Federal government on an Article 1; Section 8 diet or 2) secession and start over. I couldn't agree more but I see nothing wrong with taking the steps back to constitutionally limited federal government in the same way they were usurped originally, in baby steps. Change is always easier and more civil when instituted in small increments. - rob wheeler

Eventually it will become CRYSTAL clear that the "system (as is) is broken and can't be fixed." Superimposing "one size fits all" laws on a diverse nation of 300 million people is SILLY (I have NOTHING in common with the people of Portland, OR or Boston, MA). There are two viable options: 1) uphold the heart of the 10th Amendment and put the Federal government on an Article 1; Section 8 diet or 2) secession and start over. - Davis Mauldin

Hoffman was endorsed by Sarah Palin, Newt Gingrich, Fred Thompson, and Tim Pawlenty. All of these people are prominent and powerful republicans. Hoffman was brought in because the GOP didn't think that Scozzafava would do what they wanted her to. I'm not saying don't support him, I'm just saying that he isn't actually independent. - D'n

Third parties is a misnomer. As stated so well, we need a true second party. THIS is what makes the Big Box parties start to change their tune.

Last Presidential election, I voted for Constitution or Libertarian for every office but a single local Republican (who had no challengers). Courage among VOTERS is what is needed. The "parties" have had their say; it is time for the People to speak again. No result can be worse than what we have now! Let not the siren songs call you to their shipwrecked shores again!

http://cparty.ning.com/ is a great place to link up. BY the way, while infiltrators will of course come, that is EXACTLY the problem of the current "two" - especially the Trotskyite Machiavellian self-named Neo-Con liberals in the RNC. The solution is to have a platform that one adheres to. We can hardly do better than this: http://www.constitutionparty.com/party_platform.php - no matter what party one supports. - Pat Henry

Burt Linthicum says that the solution is to get rid of them all. First of all that isn't going to happen and neither is the silly campaign of adding "none of the above" to election ballots.

There is always going to be those who offer silver bullet solutions, or in this case, throwing out the baby with the bath water, as a sure way to straighten out Washington. Only problem with that route- it won't work. Until you educate voters on the basics of economics, the proper role of government and activate them to be as active as they possibly can be, nothing will ever change in Washington except the faces. You'll still have socialism and its partner in crime - big government. You'll still have socialism because the voters are still Not educated enough to know the difference between the "political tranvestites" and the real constitutionalist McCoy. The "get rid of them all" syndrome will get rid of Senator Tom Coburn and Congressman Ron Paul along with the bteer or more constituion aware congressmen and no guarantee we will get better ones elected - just that we will get newer ones. That is no bargain and it is silly to suggest that anyone endorse that silver bullet solution. - Lee Gonzales
