How come senators, congressmen and other elected officials and city workers have great healthcare coverage run by the government? The VA has really stepped up to provide our injured troops with quality healthcare. Then there's Medicare currently providing for our older citizens which is run by the government. Why then are the rest of us left to twist in the wind? Aren't we the ones that pay the taxes for all of these programs after all? Why shouldn't there be a program for the rest of us? Don't we have healthcare needs that are as important as theirs? - MadMommy
