Jim, didn't you see the March 20 JBS press release regarding the fusion centers and the MIAC report? -- http://www.jbs.org/index.php/about/press-room/4648 Here's the relevant excerpt: "The John Birch Society is urging members and all constitutionalists to work on bettering relationships with local police as well as the DHS Fusion Centers." If the "high ground" consists of building positive "relationships" with entities that shouldn't exist, why shouldn't JBS get EcoSoc status and register as a UN NGO, the better to gain "credibility" by dispatching "good faith" ambassadors to the world body? Why not deploy similar missionaries to the Chinese Politburo, as well? Wouldn't that approach be preferable to railing about the evils of the UN and Red China in our own little "echo chamber"? another brave patriot of jbs? give me a break. you people should all check in to the local insane asylum for a paranoia/conspiracy theory evaluation. and by the way, i'm just delighted in the aclu's campaign to keep god and religion out of public institutions. i can really notice the positive effect that this has had on our culture. wait till the crime is committed before persuing the perps? this might not work so well when an entire city has been leveled and 20 million innocents are dead or irradiated for life. a spy ring much more sophisticated than the soviets? please inform me of the family members of this country dragged from their homes in the cover of night, never to be seen or heard from again. why don't you all take a couple of zanax and chill out, before the nervous breakdown sets in. i sleep much better knowing that the bad guys are being watched by the largest army ever mustered. - mister rogers

Thank you Becky for your bravery in exposing the Fascist progession of this once free country. Larry McDonald would be proud of you. Will, I missed it. Where did JBS "upper management" urge citizens to cultivate a good relationship with the fusion centers? I already explained the tongue in cheek title I used for my earlier article. My point remains. We build far better credibility with all those we need to bring on to our side if we take the high ground by first sending in ambassadors in good faith from our side. Then, when (not if) we get rebuffed, we have a much better case to make to the many we still need in our camp rather than a DHS one. We can rail all we want about DHS fascists in our little echo chamber here. That is not enough to win on. - capo
